All,
This week I have been dealing with LDPart (Peter Howells) regarding several Stag related issues and 'amazed' by the helpfulness and service I have received.

Examples of this are:-
1) Ordering a complete set of new fuses for the Stag. Not only did I receive them the very next day, but they were sorted and bagged according to their ratings. This made the replacement process very quick and easy.

I'm ashamed to say my original fuses were not the correct ratings for most cases and one of them was a piece of wire wrapped around the terminals - oops!

Have you checked yours? The cost was less than £3 for the lot! Not much for piece of mind...

2) I was looking for recommended brake pads and Peter responded with details of the Unipart versions. I decided to purchase these, but when I did so, he actually suggested that I might source them cheaper locally and save on the cost of the postage. He even recommended a local supplier! The irony is, that when I contacted them, they were 'out of stock' and could get me them in, in the next 3-4 days. To icing on the cake, was that the total cost was higher than Peter's (with the postage).
At that point I e-mailed Peter and sure enough, there they were, sat on my desk, the very next morning.

3) Upon receiving the pads, I decided I should replace the spilt pins that hold them in, while I was at... the very next morning...

4) As some of you know, I am experiencing issues with my washer pump. I discussed this with Peter and he is looking at alternative designs to put in his shop. In the meantime... he has leant me a second-hand one!
5) ...and finally, yesterday (Friday) I noticed my top hose was leaking at the thermostat housing. No matter how hard I tried to tighten it up, it still leaked. Closer inspection revealed that the hose has 'ballooned' at the thermostat end and is now too big and does not fit snugly onto the housing. I e-mailed Peter for a replacement and received confirmation that it had been sent. Later on I realised I hadn't asked hin to send it to my home address (I usually get my stuff sent to work). Oh well, I thought, it would just mean I would have to wait until Monday to get it, though I would have preferred to fit it this weekend... Guess what arrived in the post (at home) this morning? How did he know???
So... there you have it. A recommendation for LDPart and a level of service that, sadly, is all to rare these days.:dude:
Best Regards,
Chris
