    Steering heigh

    Hi all,
    changing ignition switch and harness, but the harness runs inside a metal plate, took four screws out but it won't drop because of the height adjusting bolt and lever, on steering column.Tryed nocking bolt out but it only moves a little then won't budge.Am I doing something wrong.

    hi Steve, i think there is a roller pin that you need to knock out. im sure someone will be on to give you more advice.

      Thanks for that Joel, now you mention it l think l can remember seeing a roller pin, but can't remember reading about it in Haynes manual.l shall try that tommorow, thanks again Steve.

        Hi Yes there is a roll pin you need to drift out, it is not mentioned in either Haynes or ROM! Have not found the need to replace on reassembly.
