Hi all, I'm really new to this, so forgive me if the question has an obvious answer that I really should know!
I've bought a Stag which is driving very well, smoothly and seems to pull well (I haven't anything to compare it to, so this is just guess instinct as much as anything). It is an original 3.0 with an unleaded head and electronic ignition and, importantly for this question, a Smiths oil pressure gauge fitted. Yesterday I took it out for only the third time and I noticed that while the oil pressure normally sits at around 60 psi, when I press the clutch (when stopping at junctions for example), the pressure drops to around 25psi. It goes straight back up to 60psi when I start off again.
Is this normal, or does this indicate an issue that needs attention? - I've never had an oil gauge in a car before, so I'm not sure what normal behaviour is!
Thanks for any advice
