If thats a leather interior, they probably wouldn't notice if you tried to buy it with forged banknotes

I think this is the pre-production Stag that was advertised for auction recently. The seats are Mk1 and they look to be trimmed in the very early smooth vinyl. The RVC***H cars were all for press and publicity purposes and include the Saffron one in Diamonds are Forever, as well as the Straw Dogs car and those use in The Sweeney, etc.

These "overpriced" cars do appear to get sold, I suppose it pulls the value of my old girl up too so shouldn't moan!

Original ad is conflicting - it says "whilst ensuring it maintains a matching numbers status"
But it also says engine LF77ESS

That is not an original build engine - ESS was the suffix for short engines sold as spares.

Might have been changed under warranty, as was mine. If they have records to prove it, they could claim "matching numbers". Bit far fetched though.
