    Metal cups

    Hi all me again,
    just bought some new bushes for anti roll bar and links,got them from James Paddock but the link bushes are slightly different they are flat one side and shaped the other to take metal cup.Could someone advice me how to fit this new type,also my metal cups are shot to bits can you buy these new separately.
    Many thanks Steve

    are the new bushes poly? I just fitted new ball joint type links which only had 4 of the cup washers. The shaped part of the bush fitted into the hole in the AR bar without the washers. So I fitted washer/ bush/ ar bar/ bush / washer/ nut.
    My difficulty was working out how tight to do the nut. I just did them until the bush started to look like the old ones;
    which by the way rotted whilst the car was sat on the drive going nowhere..in just around 6 months.
    Ive no idea if that was right but it passed MOT ok like that

          I got that too but it was with two extra washers and rubber rather than with poly bushes
