Passing of the founder of Robsport

Some of you who use Robsport for parts may have known Rob Hebditch, the founder of the company. Rob's had cancer for several years, originally given three months but as he told the experts that wasn't likely as he'd at least three years’ work to finish. So well over 3 years after the original diagnosis and much care from Addenbrooke's he's finally completed his work and has now checked out. The business goes on with his son Simon now in charge, the name stays.

Rob died on July 8th, his funeral's at Barley Church, Royston Herts, SG8 8JR, on Tuesday 26th July at 2 pm. It would be nice if there could be some Stags there to show respect and sympathy.

    Rod Kennedy
    Cambridgeshire Co-Ordinator.

Didn't know him but I've dealt with Simon many times. Good company with great service. A tribute to the founder. R.I.P.

Sad news, I knew Rob had been ill for some time.
I started knowing Rob when they were at Cockenach and when they moved over to Melbourn on my weekly Saturday morning visits I would always take my dad along and him and Rob would always have a chat, now both gone and both much missed.
