Hello again - just to introduce myself,
I'm Rob, today I have bought back the 1974 Stag (in Maple) that I sold 14 years ago. It has had one more owner since then but appears to have been stored for at least 10 of the 14 years and incredibly only covered 200 miles in all that time. Its fair to say the condition is much poorer than when I sold it but I will get it MOT'd and run it for the summer and then do a running restoration on it.
I have just finished a 4/5 year restoration (they always take longer than you think) of a 1972 MGB Roadster which will be the Stag's stable mate. I also have a 1972 MG MIdget (RWA) which needs a little work to make it a very nice example but I'm going to sell that to concentrate on the Stag. I will join the club (again) in the next week or so and hopefully meet some of you at various shows/runs in the future. In the meantime please excuse any numpty technical questions I ask until I get back up to speed with my old mate.
cheers
