Cairns to Port Douglas and return

Hi all,
I haven't posted in a while, divorce does tend to get in the way! However I kept the Stag So I took my new partner, and a mate and his partner up to Port Douglas on Sunday for a evening out. Google Earth it for those who haven't experienced the best Stag road on the planet! The photos say it all, great fun before sunset for all, however a little chilly for the girls on return! Its mid winter here 18C overnight low. Perhaps total disregard for the speed limit might have cooled then off a little more than expected!!IMG_6673.jpgIMG_6681.jpg

Hi,

that's realy a great road. In 2010 we drove from Cairns to the Daintree River. Would like to repeat the trip in a Stag and not in a camper.

That's probably true. At least I'll have them on my side although they can't assist to find the whistler.

The second part of our Grand Tour next year is to drive from Sydney to Cairns, taking 26 days to do it. This will be in March, using a Maui campervan. We are looking forward to the sights along the way....

Its good to hear from you I thought that diablo had had his way, Looks like you have lost a bit of weight on the way mate. Sad but I'm glad you have come through to the other side. Cant see it happening now mate, got to have a new knee fitted and we are flying down to Gibraltar in a couple of months to get married. Who said it wouldn't last
