Is this guy serious, £7,500 with a hole in the bonnet from an engine that doesn't fit and none of the other mechanics matched - the diff for one....
what a load of junk!
Its a a lot of car wouldn't take much to make it look out standing. I'm thinking a nice, Tickford Stag, bonnet scoop. Lower the gear changer or Hide with a nice bit of veneer.
I wondered what Stag my old seats would end up in.
A few too many harsh words I feel.
Okay the hole in the bonnet, being a different colour, and the massive shifter don't do it justice, but rectify those items and I believe it could be a tidy looking motor!

i agree ... It's got a lot of potential to make it into something a bit different
just sort out the install. and that shifter
The fact that the car is straight is good. Throw a few quid at it and you could have a good car for 10K not a bad price for a fairly unique Stag.
Yeah, I think that could be a pretty interesting project to finish off. Perhaps a Hemi 'Cuda style shaker scoop could look good and as said by others fitting a less ignorant looking shifter could make it a rather interesting prospect...
Hmmm, I really do need to get a garage sorted for my Stag so I can get cracking on putting it back together again, seeing all these other Stags for sale does make me feel like I'm missing out on whole load of driving! Maybe next summer....
