    Readers Rides Section?

Just wondering if there is / we could have a 'readers rides' section where we could post threads on our own cars and maintain it as and when we work on them?
Im about to start a rebuild and would like to create an online blog - that people could more easily find?

i am a member of the Mustang Owners Club - and I have a blog there regarding a recent 5 year rebuild I have just completed... (though I have been a Stag owner for 14 years.... &#128522....

    See...

i can assure you that the car at the start of the thread is the car at the end though the phrase 'trigger's broom' does spring to mind....

I use this site, http://retrorides.proboards.com/board/12/readers-rides, although it not just for Stags. There's shed loads different cars with load of different ideas.

Ferds, I think that is a good idea. If there is some support for it we could ask Admin if they could set up a suitable section, so why not start a new thread with a poll?

nice seeing photos of the mustang, nice car,the way the mustang was put together is a bit like the stag body shell, there's a lot of body upgrades to stop the suspension turrets from cracking on the mustang

Thanks guys... I'll do a poll and see what the response is like.

              Hi Chris
The Mustang resto is a great read, blimey you have more patience than I have and it just goes to show its not only Stags where workmanship and attention to detail are lacking at some places. I Remember getting my Stag back from a bare metal respray to find all my powder coated rear suspension covered in overspray which being two pack wouldn't come off so had to pull it all out and have it redone.
I too have had my garage extended recently and one of the roofers pulled the old steel double garage door (which was being replaced) with a bit too much force and it fell off its runners. Thankfully I had moved the Stag out of the old garage and into the new bit the day before. It took four of us to lift the door up, if my Stag had been below it it would have written it off I'm sure.
I for one will be voting yes for a readers rides section, will your Stag resto be done to the same standard as the mustang and it would look good done in the same colour?
