Out of intrest Graham, in case I do the journey again, how long does the Huelva-Tenerife Ferry take?.
In 2004 & again in 2005 there was only the Ferry from Cadiz to Tenerife, and that took 40 hours.
Every time we visit friends on the Algarve we fly to Sevilla, hire a car there, and drive across the Border passing by Huelva on the way.

The Tf to Huelva ferry took 38 hours stopped at GC on the way. I have never known the Cadiz to Tenerife to take that long, it always been 36 hours.

If I recall correctly the Cadiz Ferry also stopped 1st in GC before continuing on to Santa Cruz, Tenerife and I think I was told it would be 40 hours, but exactly how many hours it did take I am not sure. The ship was the "Juan J. Sister".

60klms out of Huelva with the outside temperature 42deg c and cruising at 120 to 130 kph apart from the Kenlowe running more than usual the temp never went past M so I am more convinced than ever that aftermarket bits and bobs are not necessary. Although true to say I have the leccy fan £5 landy header tank and a Daddy pump for peace of mind. Ferry tomorrow morning then back home. Oh forgot the Pertronix

Nice one Graham, that is a true test for the Stag (and you) we came home from La Tranche Sur Mer on Tuesday, great Stag weather in France, drove to La Rochelle while we were there too, didn't know that was where Fort Boyard was filmed!

Journey's end door to door 6524 klms I'll give the old girl a bath tomorrow, then I'll wash the car. In the next week or so fit the newly acquired cruse lights and get the tyres fitted on the new wheels. I'll post piccies on the forum see what the purists have to say about them.

Congratulations on your return Graham. Just goes to prove a well sorted Stag is the perfect car for these sort of long trips.

Nice one Graham - just got back to Tenerife myself today to find the Stag waiting for me in the Car Park after having it's bodywork attended to whilst away. Not yet had time to inspect it or check that he has left me the keys so I can drive it again - and don't yet know the cost of the partial respray etc.
