          "Is this a first? £30k Stag" ?

No it's not the first overpriced Stag to be advertised, watch for it to quietly change hands (maybe, it's been advertised since before the start of summer and still hasn't sold yet) for an undisclosed amount likely closer to 20K, clock is ticking and summer is finishing.

So many trinkets, changes and colour clashes. How can that be called original or "unmelested"? Truly a vomit inducing vista in my opinion

Can't work out what the square box is where washer bottle should be, or cylinder in front of it. There appears to be a catch tank next to servo and possibly another near wiper motor. Confused.

As Koy23 says some questions but why so many negatives on the colour combination? Looks similar to mine which I think is great! Each to his own etc.

OK would have to spend around £2.5 K to improve mine (exc. Weber) to this spec but £30K?

Thinks should improve agreed valuation immediately!

I wonder exactly what shows it has been too and exactly what the prizes it won were for?

Not my cup of tea in any respect whatsoever, but I am sure it would do staggeringly well in the States where good taste is.........err.....

I fail to understand this forum sometimes.

The car may not be to everyone's taste but really, "vomit inducing"? How would you face the chap who decides they like it enough to buy it and turns up at your local club meeting after they read that? Of course the advert is full of hyperbole, but it is just that, an advert, designed to generate interest.

Everyone is allowed to put their stamp on their car. Some like them totally original, others like to cram massive turbocharged engines in them. It's all good, and all good for the hobby, surely.

And increases in the "going rate" for the value of these cars must surely be good? Why would you want to own the only classic that bucks the upward trend in classic car values?

                            JMHO, is all.
