Hi All.
Finally getting my dads old stag over to Denmark. After a lot of buggering about with tax/insurance and the fact that there is a rover v8 in it (ie it's not original), It is arriving the 1st September.
My question is this. I live on a small island, so concerned about salt in the air. Is it something to be concerned about? It is more the salt on the roads and condensation that is an issue? A friend suggested a carcoon to filter remove any condensation and salt out - or the one Hamilton classic sell (which actually looks more useful). I have read threads on here saying to just use the car over the winter as much as possible.
The car will be stored in a carport, which has a timber door. It's not air tight by any means and there is a pretty good flow of air around it (it's nearly always windy here)
I am really just looking for some advice as to the best way to enjoy the car, and to prolong its life.
Thanks
Mark
