I've been thinking about getting a drone myself...
At one end of the hamlet where we live we have a thoroughly unpleasant individual that is hellbent on turning his once beautiful cottage into a second hand car site (bast*rd) and at the other a mile or two up the road we have numerous pykies (so sorry - travellers) who like nothing more than dumping their rubbish around our lanes!
I feel a decent drone fully armed with a few napalm bombs may well sort the problem but I can't find any for sale on e.g. eBay - anyone got any ideas...?

I have finally received the two stainless resonators from Double-S, they measure 220mm in length with the the centre section
measuring 120mm long by 75mm in diameter, they are in effect small straight through silencers, I will be fitting them in a few
weeks time when I return from a short vacation. I have not been looking at the forum for some weeks so not picked up on additional
comments posts made by members, I will have a look at these areas when I install the resonators.

The fitment of the resonators is going to be delayed for while, the lower radiator hose split a couple of weeks ago while driving through the New Forest which resulted in a partially blown head gasket a week later, The friendly AA man came to my rescue and to my amazement repaired the hose with a product called Kraken tape, its a Silicon based tape that he wrapped around the 50cm split apparently its what they use for temporary repairs, it worked I drove 30 miles to my home with no leaking problems, the AA man followed me home just to make sure everything was OK, I will update the forum when I have accomplished the two tasks.

I had a hose on my works van go I called the AA as the company use them he started to use his Kraken tape I produced Alfa tape from my van and asked him to use that in place of his tape he agreed that the Alfa tape is of far better quality.
I left this on the hose until I booked van in for Mot some months later when garage changed out hose for me.

                Cheers Glenn

Now that I have finally fixed my low oil pressure problem and taken the car for a spin I can give an update on the two small resonators I have fitted to the downpipes. both resonators are fitted an equal distance from the cylinder heads about 300mm from the bend, no real reason for this position other than was the best physical fit, unfortunately although they look quite nice and shiny under the car they did nothing to reduce the low rev drone, an expensive experiment !! I will now enjoy the summer driving the car and revisit the this challenge in the autumn, I have not been a passenger in another stag with a 4 branch manifolds maybe what I am experiencing is the normal increased sound from this type of manifold compared to standard cast iron one ??

I have tubular manifolds, old style both running forward then back, linked to a stainless system of unknown brand.
Don't suffer from any drone fortunately.
Drone can be problematic though. I fitted a pair of straight through rear 'larini' silencers to my Maserati. It sounds epic, however it also drones at low revs and is a common, very frustrating problem!

Can you post a picture of your Maserati. If ever I could afford a Supercar, I would choose a Maserati over a Ferrari, or Lambo, etc.,
as I have always liked them, and on a trip last year to Lake Garda in Italy there were some nice examples around a place by the Lakeside called Sirmione. Strangely enough when picked up in a Taxi to take us to our Hotel, it was a Merc, and when I asked the driver why he wasn't driving an Italian car, he said they were all rubbish except for some Supercars, and I did see a lot of Mercs, BMWs, and Audies whilst there.
