I got a cheap one hooked up right now. It is a temp fix. Works fine only problem is the fuelpressure is too high. So the carbs overflow. I go back to original. I did buy one from eBay. Will try to fix the old and hè presto I have a spare one. Although I think the cheap ones can work fine with a pressure regulator. Maybe there are others with more knowledge then me. They can give you advice.

Cheap pump + regulator costs more than good pump.

I agree. A proper regulator cost almost the same as an original pump. The only reason I have a cheap pump at the moment is that it was at hand when my original pump died. But a proper original one is under its way.

Also beware of what eBay sellers say is suitable for a Stag, I have seen them recommending high pressure EFI pumps which give over 45psi pressure.
Unfortunately eBay is full of cheap Chinese clap.

This is the low pressure one I have used for the last couple of years, very easy to fit and no problems at all. A bit more than a tenner though!
