ideal spark plugs

Hello all,

as I wanted only the best for my two Triumphs I replaced my NGK plugs by Bosch Super 4 WR78 (the ones with the four electrodes each. See here: http://images.google.de/imgres?imgur..._NDtoQ9QEIYzAA

Now I was told off by an old mechanic. He said these plugs might burn holes into the tops of the pistons.
What do you think?

Personally I have champion EON plugs in mine, although to be honest I don't think it makes a blind bit of difference what plugs are fitted.
The important thing is correct plug gaps. I have found the preset plug gaps to be too big, and get better results simply by ensuring the plug gaps are correct to triumph settings before fitting.

The make doesn't really matter, the heat grade does.

I am running Iridium plugs NGK BPR5EIX. I felt the engine ran better after fitting but it could be just a placebo effect! Craig

0.025 inch gap. I did them last night. Early days but I believe she runs cleaner now
