Hi Guys....my car has had its birthday !!!....and it passed !!!!....yippee!!!........downside will need new exhaust system ..will go stainless ...where is the best place to go????...............any advice would really help thanks............stef
I bought a stainless system from Rimmers a few months ago and am still trying to make it fit properly without blowing... at first i thought it was because I'd ordered the wrong one (which i had) but its generally poor fit so not entirely my fault!!
I also had to buy the fitting kit separately which also wasn't all the bits i needed!!
All in all not recommended, for round about £100 extra i could have had one made and fitted at a specialist place in south Gloucestershire (i can't remember the name at the moment but can look it up if you want)
Stef,I had a s/steel exhaust.By Longlife exhaust all over England it is a brill job.Sound the same .And looks the same .Twice as thick.Had it off 3 times now and fits back the same .It don't dent were the brackets go.It is a little more cash 550.00.But it will last a life time.At T/triumph at the week end. If any stag owner wants to look at it ,Derek Hicks
If you got it from rimmers it won't fit. I got a front window screen rubber from then it was about a foot to long work that one out. I don't order from them now.

I'm hearing good reports about Double 'S' - the one they supplied for the Alvis 30 years ago is still like new......
I'll be buying my next Stag one from them.
Hi Stef, it's called Infinity Exhausts, located at 3 Dodington Spring, Dodington Ash BS37 6RX, just off Junction 18 of the M4. I've heard good things from friends and colleagues who've used them, but I don't know anyone who's taken a Stag there.

They are based just a few miles from me. I bought a Stag exhaust from them 25 years ago and it fitted fine. One section split after 9 years and they gave me a new section without quibble. The one on my current Stag is from them and has been off several times for different jobs and it still fits very well.

Hi richard ...thanks for info ....car looking great !!!!....are they cibie hellraisers on the front!!!!.........kind regards stef
No, they're Cibié Oscars, quite old now but still good. I have those spotlights and a pair of matching foglights but decided that might be overkill so I've used the Lucas square fogs under the bumper.
