Knocking at the rear!

I've had an annoying knock from the rear of my Stag for a few months, especially when going over the pot holed roads that we have to endure in this Sceptred Isle. I had the car up on axle stands and had a good butchers around underneath but found nothing. I checked the contents of the boot and the spare wheel, still nothing. Checked the shockers, all OK there. Then as I lent on the rear bumper I felt a slight movement. On further investigation and pulling the rear bumper up and down I found that the two bumper back securing bolts were loose, about one revolution loose!
Moral: check your nuts regularly.

This is something that I have always aspired to, but Sonia has always had them clutched firmly in the palm of her hand, she does have the good grace to occasionally to change hands which does give me a small respite which I am truly grateful for.
