I don't see the point of it? If it starts to rain what is wrong with just putting up the softtop?

All down to personal taste.... i know many people who really like the lines of a Surrey-type top. Personally, it would not be my choice

Given that it probably has less than half the metal of a regular top taking it off must be a lot easier than a regular hardtop though

I like the concept of a smaller lighter 'surrey'hard top,but I dont see the point of the soft cover, or the unsightly studs. My idea was to havetwo removable half panels at the top that would stow in the boot. I never got round t trying it.

I wonder if the 'back draft' is any better than with the soft top down?
