The 2000 range originally used sealed beam units similar to the H1/H4 setup. Just the outers on when on dip but all 4 when on main, with the outers switching between 2 filaments (like an H4).
Due to this, the dip switch is different in that it switches the dip OFF when on main beam, unlike the Stag original UK setup.
However, it is possible to fit a 2000 range dipswitch and change just one wire in the plug (later, white plastic type) which then works with the H4/H1 setup which I have on the Stag. It was when fitting this I found the difference in the 'lugs'!
