Attached is a photo of the fitting instructions and parts required, if you are not competent with automotive electrics please get an auto electrician to carry out the wiring, I have had to repair a few wiring looms because of incorrect wiring.

terry it was i who moved this post very shortly after it was posted and at no point then did i see other posts had i have done they also would have moved with this one ,sorry but possibly you did not send it or its stuck in the ether somewhere .

The reply I sent was simply to check Wards website as the high output alternator I purchased from them said in the Ad that it could be used on a Mk1 as well as a MK2. Maybe I sent it just as you were moving the original and it's gone into a Black Hole somewhere.

Terry's reply is on the other post the original poster (RogerK) put in this forum, scroll down and you will see it. I think RogerK realised he had posted in the wrong section and put another identical post in this section.
