They are a bit scruffy. I'd want some mint looking ones for that sort of money.

So, going back to my post, is anyone interested in the panel before it goes on eBay?

i have the same panel,to fit the whole panel is a really a lot of work, generally you only need repair sections made where the drainage tube go

Even using this panel as a template for any future body shell requirements.

Never say never but I'm not sure this is a part we could easily reproduce Andrew. I expect that the tooling would be eye wateringly expensive as we would have to use steel draw tooling (and probably more than one tool) as there is no longer a rubber press that could produce a panel of this size. Rubber press panels are usually a lot cheaper to produce, for example the steel draw tooling for a panel we were investigating (until we found that rubber presses were not viable) was 2-3 times more expensive than the rubber press equivalent.

The other issue is the unknown provenance of the panel, I don't know if SOC spares was the only producer of this panel in years gone by but an original seat pan from a car would be a better template for a new panel. As it happens, I have one in my garage taken from a good shell.

Thanks for bringing it up though and I hope my post helps?

                      Cheers

                      Paul

Thanks Paul. I'll advertise it on eBay for him knowing at least it's been offered here first.
                        Cheers
