Out of interest, I want to seal between the front wing and the bulkhead and was wondering if there are coloured options rather than black to seal the gap? Or, is there a type of coloured putty or even something like plasticine
i've some grey seam sealer but never seen anything body coloured - that would be achieved by filling then spraying with the correct colour, that's how it would have ben done originally.

I'm not a fan of sealing in this area it always looks like a bodge. However you could virtually stop lots of water by just inserting a small rubber tube in the gap. This could then be removed at any point. A bit like a draft excluder rubber seal.
That's a great idea Edd, didn't think of that. If mine had your drainage mod under that section I wouldn't worry but I don't like the idea of water going under the front wing and dropping down to the sill and out through hole at the bottom
Hi,
What about clear ? .... use Siloflex EBT clear on the Land Rover to sort leaks - does a good job , you don't need to use a great deal , it can be done neatly if you take care .
