Someone foriegn telecoms engineer made a fully working model of a Ferarri in similar scale and I made the same point - ie. pointless. Only to be beaten round the head by forum members for daring to be so negative about the great achievement. Now put that engine in a scale model radio controlled car and I would start to see the point but otherwise I agree!
I made a few models as a kid but have grown ofthem, however my father hasn't. My eyes glaze over when he starts talking about the latest development on his train layout!
