Jeff - I'm not really back. I made an ass of my self a while back (the auto box thread) and came to the conclusion that it was best for everyone else if I left. I have never fitted in here, in fact I left for a few years when I was suffering from acute depression. When I did return I got the impression that I wasn't really making any valuable contributions, despite, at the time, my best intentions. Things started to get really nasty on here last year and I'll admit, I wasn't best behaved and tried to stick up for some people who I thought were getting treated badly. Anyway, I'll leave all you in peace and hope you all have great Stag adventures.

I know mate is all very confusing, if you go to the main menu and look at " head torque procedure " it says started by bandit 1200

In the "Subscribed Threads" list it says this Thread (Last word from me) was started by Paul Roberts, and as he hasn't closed it yet I made my post to him assuming he would still read it, and maybe reply (to the post you say he won't answer Graham!?).

Pete, I must be right up there for not making valuable contributions because of my very limited if not non existent expertise on mechanical issues but I do try to contribute on bodywork and paint as I have had lots of experience on that.

I stay on here because I do like the banter (not so much of it these days) and there are all sorts of people on this forum that are willing to give advice on all subjects which makes it interesting. It's the 'idiots' that join and leave and in between upset a lot of people for no other reason than they get kicks out of it.

You can see that by the repetitive questions instead of searching, I believe people want to 'talk' live and not just read old threads, which I understand now and why I don't post 'do a search' any more.

There's room for everyone Pete, some just can't take comments on the chin when deep down no offence is really meant by most.

Jeff - I not not an "expert" on anything Stag related I don't mind admiting, but I have managed to keep my car on the road for nearly 23 years now. I do have "experiences" though which might be helpful to others on here at some time or other, and at this moment this Forum is the only one I regularly use because I enjoy the "positive" sides to it (but not the constant childish backbiting betwen certain members). Just renewed my membership again for another year, and looking forward to more Stag motoring (than normal) this month as the wife's car is going in for a full respray on Monday.

Off out now for a last meal with son & family who fly back home to the U.K. tomorrow, as the grandkids are back at school next week, and looking forward to staying in and having a rest as have been out every single night this week.
