    Stag roll over jig dimensions

As the title. What would typically be the overall length of Stag and roll over jig?
I know it's a 'how long is a piece of string' type question.
Just want to have an idea to make sure new garage internal clear length will be enough. I've had a look at a few web sites but haven't found anything yet.
    Thanks

See the following for an example of a frame. "Thread: Here's one I started yesterday............."

There are pictures of my millstone up on a jig, simple, straightforward, if you can weld you can build it, if you can't weld you can learn by doing it.

Personally I wouldn't put it on castors but if you link the base of both ends together with a solid frame it should work ok. I think it would require bracing in both horizontal and vertical to avoid twisting. I found in my case there wasn't enough stability to give enough confidence to go down that route, and to be honest I don't think being able to trundle it around the garage would have helped me much.

Using a jig made all the difference in carrying out the body repairs.

PS, you would need some type of locking ring, which isn't shown in #2

If you use the search facility on here you will find the drawings I posted in 2008 /2009 ish of a moveable rotisserie that I had made.

Thanks all. I think maybe allowing to add 3m to the length of a Stag will mean I need to increase the planned length of the garage by 1200mm. This may be too much of an expensive extravagance just to accommodate something that may never happen.
            I will research it further.
            Thanks

Once you take the bumpers off the Stag'll be a bit less than 4m long, and you could get away with a metre at one end, and shuffle the car along when you want to work on the other.

              Just a thought.

I see that all the home made jigs are not adjustable for center of gravity, is the stag naturally pretty much balanced?

                Does it rotate pretty easily??

Yes the bodyshell rotates easily. Right up until you start fitting suspension. I know this as I assembled my car upside down as fitting the suspension is so much easier in that orientation. Turning it back the right way up for the final time was fun after that!!
