I know there wont be a big demand for Hardtop seals but even so, that price is bloody rediculous.
pardon the pun but there is a WINDOW of opportunity there for someone to make these.
Whose charging £244? I can't see why they should be so expensive; it is only a furflex seal like our door seals after all. When I restored my hard top back in 2002 I took some of the old seal to a scrapyard and compared it to seals on scrapped cars. ISTR I used the door seal from a Jaguar XJS as it was a close match. The Stag hard top seal has metal connectors in the corners, but these can be re-used or even left out as they aren't essential.

RIMMERS robsport etc. part No813861-71 £244 For the pair. they do look like they are moulded to shape with lips and grooves, very similar to the door 1/4 light glass seals. I was just gobsmacked by the price. I will be using something else and jag has been mentioned to me before so thanks for the tip.
joel.
