Understeer: When you hit the wall with the front of the car.

Oversteer: When you hit the wall with the back of the car.

Horsepower: How fast you hit the wall.

Torque: How far you take the wall with you.

I needed something to cheer me up, having been laid up in bed the last few days with a really bad headache and nasty cough & cold some kind holidaymaker had brought out from the U.K. with them and passed on. One disadvantage of living here (especially on a Tourist Complex) is that your immune system changes (and your blood thins), making you more likely to more easily pick up colds & flu etc., that tourists bring out with them, and they last longer and are more difficult to shake off once youv'e got them.

I always liked the redefinition of stock phrases in the Haynes manual which was doing the rounds by fax many years back.

My favourite was the translation of: "Care is required when dismantling as this component is spring loaded." To

"S--t! What was that? It nearly had my eye out! Did you see where it went?"
