    175R14 or 185R14?

How many of you use 175R14 tyres, original fitment for later Stags?
How many of you use 185R14 tyres, original fitment for earlier Stags?

Don't reply if you use any other diameter wheel!!

Always used 185R14 on Stag alloys - last few years on Vredestein, as they seem to be the only H rated ones in the right size. My first Stag was 1973, current one is 1972.

Im on 185's on stag alloys. Cant go bigger at moment because my bck springs are knackered (sits half an inch lowe than the lowered springs) and when you drive hard the LH tyre rubs on the wheel arch.

Currently running on 175x80 but when I fit my WolfRace wheels it will be 195x70.

185x80 R14, i prefer 80 to 70 profiles for the comfort they provide, having tested very low profiles on my last BMW company cars ( 225/45 R17 for the last one ). Really, even it lacks the precision of those low profile tyres. I also think it give the Stag a very vintage look.
