In a couple of weeks the misses and I are going away for a while (until end of January), and that means whilst away the Stag too gets to have a rest, in it's new Xmas present home. I will be parking it for the 1st time in a nearby underground garage that I have agreed to rent, and where it will no longer need to worry about the elements or careless parking neighbours & tourists, in fact it won't have to think about anything as I will be disconnecting it's brain whilst away by removing the battery earth key.
Unlikely to be making any more Forum posts whilst away (as never access the Internet when on a cruise), which might not be an entirely bad thing as I have wondered recently whether it is just me being paranoid, or am I now out of sync with other SOC members thinking, and the posts I make no longer appreciated.

I know Graham (Staggard) has had a couple of Forum colleagues visit him in the fairly recent past, but it is quite a while since I last met up with someone from the Club here in Tenerife, but would like to take this opportunity of wishing those who I have met & shared a drink with here, all the best for the Festive season and New Year, and that includes (in no particular order) :- Andrew Smith, Andy Moss, Big Lad, Chopperman, Gary Fearnley, Jamcarr2, Janet (15Tag), Kevin Garrod, PcColeman, Scotstag, and of course Snakey.
Would also like to include in that the New Zealand Stag owners who made myself & my wife so welcome when we visited Auckland & Tauranga for just a day a few years back, in particular :-John & Joan Parker, Ian & Heather Skene, Lance and Enid, and Chris and Sue Lowe.
At present I wish I could get more into the Xmas spirit myself, but still having to take steroids preventing me having a drink, and also can't get rid of a nasty cough, cold, and sore head passed on by some kind holidaymaker a month ago now, and having to take a dose of anti-biotics for that too. At least the weather here is good though.
On my return home the Stag will be getting a couple more presents, a set of alloy centre stick on logos, and a "wind" shield for the microphone in the rear bumper for improved sound recordings on recorded trips out.
