Handles aren't too bad, just hook them up as far as you can, then the little pillars that take the two screws should just fit into the half-moon shapes in the aperture. Once the handle is in place, put the screws and top hat washers in. It is easier if you have the door on a bench, though!
Here's hoping the lock moves today. I had another problem, in that the link between the keylock and the door latch dropped off.... it took me a couple of hours to replace it and the clip that stops it falling off :-(Richard

Some of the door gaskets are too thick, especially if there is a lot of paint on the door. Peter at LD Parts does some the correct thickness: http://www.ldparts.co.uk/shop/shop.p...6860d6260ea912Dave

http://socspares.co.uk/store/15-triu...g-spares-parts, there is an awful lot more to them than that, they tool, manufacture and distribute many parts to the usual suppliers. SOCTFL or more knowlegable members will be able to enlighten you further.

How right you are! Stuart Soutter was given the task of setting up a supply of parts for the Stag Club (S.O.C.Spares) in its earliest days, by buying them up when B.L. dealerships were selling them off at bargain prices. I remember when the small front room of his house was the stores! The business grew rapidly, so he expanded in to a Triumph parts retail and repair business on a trading estate outside Maidsdtone, and later to a shop and stores in Headcorn.
He sold that to a local motor factor business some years ago, and now works from home nearby, concentrating on website and trade supplies, and working with SOCTFL, as you have stated.
Mike.
