Distorted Passenger Door.

Now I have had the car resprayed, new roof and other things the passenger door is approx. 5mm out at the bottom on the lock side. Have tried many different positions however decided to sort it out. Is it an easy job to "twist" the door into shape or is it a specialist thing.

has the door been redskin,some times when they fit a skin you can have the door twist,i take it the door is okay at the hinge end,and top part near the lock,if there okay and is just the bottom end near the lock,have the door open holding the door and brute false try and twist it back in to shape

Hinge end is good, infact all of the door is good. Don't think it has been reskinned. Will give at go on Saturday. Probably be on here on Sunday asking how to fix broken hinges.

if you take the door card off you should be able to get a g clamp on the door frame and with a piece of wood against the door aperture slowly pull in back in a controlled manner . it worked on my TR6 door.

If you choose to push the corner in with a jack and some carefully positioned bits of wood, like I tried on a Herald many years ago, make sure that the bit of wall you are using to jack against is strong enough
