Kick down adjustmant

My auto seems reluctant to kick down so I feel the cable may need adjusting. Any tips?

First check that you getting full travel on the accelerator and your carpets etc are not stopping it, don't ask me how I know.

I found my throttle pedal had bent after 30+ years use and limited the travel

Pulled it back up to correct the bend and all was well

A little fiddling with the cable yesterday and it did kick down, twice. getting close I feel. Will look at the carpets and pedal this week.
