Hi Tony.
I'm confused.
Stags don't have rocker covers, they have cam covers.
Also, I have never heard of rubber cam cover gaskets for Stags and Rimmers don't list them on their website.
If rubber cam cover gaskets are available I'd like to know.
Can you please clarify.
Many thanks
Steve
all the feedback i have on these is pants ,leaks distortion etc maybe they are better now i don't know . yrs back i fitted silicon cover gaskets imported from the us of a and they are brilliant still leak free and covers been off a few times ,not cheap but the best option ive had so far

I bought some silicone cam cover gaskets a few years ago at quite considerable cost, they were complete rubbish and ended up in the bin, couldn't stop them leaking. I went back to cork
I remember the excitement when the rubber/silicon gaskets became available, and as said, most found them not fit for purpose.
Personally I've tried every combination of sealant with cork, and it always comes down to silicon sealant on both sides to guarantee an oil tight seal.
I bought the silicon ones a few years back as part of a bulk buy by a member on here. I didn't fit them until I did the cylinder heads a couple of years ago. They have been completely oil-tight since fitting. Mind you, I made sure the cam covers were straight, then glued the gaskets to the covers using Dirko. After leaving them weighted down on a flat surface overnight, the cover/gaskets assemblies were fitted to the heads using Stag Wellseal. Wellseal was also used to stick the D-seals in their place.

Is rubber the same as silicone?
no not remotely , you have ordered some now best make the most might work well for you hopefully. but do as DJT said and ensure cam covers are not out of shape and depressed then using a good silicone glue the rubber to the covers first and put on a flat surface rubber down weighted gently overnight to ensure a good seal to tin cover before fitting to heads .
good luck

What I was after was a reusable gasket that once stuck to the cam cover could be reused without lots of scraping of sealant, I'm sure if you covered both sides of the rubber with silicone sealant you will be able to get it oil tight but that's not ideal and if your going with both sides covered in goo you might as well use Cork .
