    advice about selling bumpers

whats do folk think is the best way to sell front and rear bumpers?

    should I...

a, sell the lots together as one job lot
b, sell the front and rear separately as two job lots
c, sell the individual parts separately

some parts are very good, some are notes good and one overrider and the bumper rear centre section is quite pitted. All are solid,

    thanks

    Gary

ps this is not a for sale ad, thanks

I'd say (B) front and rear separate, not everyone wants both, splitting for parts will leave you with the bits nobody wants.

    Cheers

What he said, if the rear is any good and is a MK1, let me know

I sold mine on eBay a few years back. I listed all the bits separately. They all went first time. Often if people are not buying a new set they just need one piece. If someone wants the lot they will either bid on the lot or contact you to make an offer. My view is this gives you a wider market. If you sell the rear as a set you will lose out on someone who just wants one part. I think it unlikely you will be left with bits on something like bumpers.

Been selling my unwanted bits on eBay for many years and I invariably find you get more for separate parts than if you list/sell as a set. A more recent trend is it seems easier to sell if you list as Buy It Now with offers. That way you can list all parts separately and if someone wants the lot it is easy for them to buy it now on the bits they want.

many thanks for the advice above. I've decided to go the route of offering the parts separately or as a job lot.

the old parts are off and the new ones will be on very soon

I think the best thing to do would be to offer them on here before i list them on ebay. Keep an eye on the for sale section in a couple of days in case you are interested.

          cheers
