    Slightly leaning

    Hi All

My Stag sits about 12mm lower on the drivers side measured to the wheel arches. I have checked out the springs etc and all ok there. I have found that the nearside sub frame mounting bush has a wider gap than the offside so I guess that needs changing. My question is would a knackered mounting bush allow the spring to push the body up a little? The car drives ok but I would like to fix this.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi John,

simple answer is yes, it would.
id replace both with new units and preferably poly, not rubber as nearly all the ones available now are rubbish.

    Cheers

Mine did the same, was about an inch lower, I was told "they all do that, sir, it's because the battery and fuel tank are on that side". However, my OCD took over and after investigating I replaced all the springs and the car now sits level - until I get in!

Might have to give weight watchers a try...........thanks for the suggestion dasadrew!

Its called a "bachelor lean" due to the classic car nerd not having a girlfriend!
