    More Christmas greetings

    Hi All,

Just thought I'd take the opportunity of wishing Terry, Kevin, etc Happy Birthday and to wish all members a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Like Terry I am away, having been summoned by my youngest daughter to spend a month with her over the festive season . This will not be onerous as she lives in Sydneywhere we will be joined by my eldest daughter from Singapore.

So who knows maybe my next jottings will be forwarded from the warmth of Bondi Beach.

Does anyone know if we have any forum members in Sydney?

    :dude:Seasons Greetings

    Hi Rodger,

I don't think there are any Sydneysiders on this forum, of the three members "Down Under" that I know of on this site, two are in Perth and myself in North Queensland.

There are a few on the triumphstag.net forum though.

Have a great trip, don't forget to try the White Stag" beer while you are here!

    regards,

    Raoul

      Hi Raoul,

Thanks for the reply and advice.

I shall do my best to drink up the economy while I am there, as long as I can remember which of your glasses holds the most!!

      Happy Hols.

The names of the glasses can vary state by state, eg. pot, midi, schooner etc.

I prefer to drink it out of the bottle (stubby), you can get stubby coolers to keep the bottle cooler for longer and they make great souveniers.

Some places are quite civilized and even serve beer by the pint!

        Cheers!

          Hi Raoul,

Thanks for the advice. I am taking my own (oz) stubby coolers with me as my daughter now seems to prefer wine!

          Cheers

            Hi Rodger,

I'm here in Sydney right now. It's about 28C and just a little windy. Had lunch on the prom at Manly yesterday.

We are staying at Freshwater just outside Manly and will be here until 7th Jan.

Last time we were out here at Christmas we saw about 6 or 7 Stags although we haven't seen any this year so far. Getting withdrawal symptons already!

Don't forget the Factor 30 sunscreen!!

Happy Holiday Keith, and thanks once again for those Stag emblems - I owe you one.
Will have to wait till I get back before having my car resprayed.

Hiya Raoul, you mention two Stag owners in Perth, I was brought up there, from '54 to '65 and STILL miss it, I would love to be able to contact them. Martin.
