Horns stopped working

What are the usual suspects to check if the horns stop working?

Switch is only 12 months old.

Fuses. Are the puddle lamps and headlamp flashers still working? They are on the same fuse, the fuseholder on my car has been thoroughly cleaned and re-tensioned to avoid this sort of problem.

Test them with a direct supply from the battery.
if they don't work it may be that they need adjusting...

if if they do work then you will need to test with a meter

Pretty sure there isn't a relay on my car for the horns, but will look for one.
Will be checking the fuse, but flash & puddles are working at the mo.

This has happened after a heater rebuild, so lots of chances to have disturbed something.

1. More than likely that something has been disturbed after heater rebuild.
2. Horn relay is situated on bulkhead inside the car on the passengers side, in front of parcel shelf. Remove parcel shelf to get clear access to the component mounting plate. Loads of connections there to wiggle about and check!
