Hi all, I know this subject has been mentioned many times in the past but this has a different slant. I have had my car about 4 yrs and suffered the usual teething problems, air locks, leaks, etc but never suffered with water in the vee. I changed all the hoses recently, and there are no leaks at all, however when changing the hoses I had difficultly in getting the hose off the water pump and had to 'wiggle' it free. The question is, could I have broken the seal that may have formed between the water pump housing and the gaskets? I am now getting water in the vee which is dripping down onto the floor where the gearbox meets the engine. Could a slight tightening of the housing help and can it be done without removing the inlet manifold? Is the torgue setting critical for this housing? Any other suggestions welcome. Regards Mark

Hi Bandit, thanks for taking the time to reply. I will do as you suggest. Cheers MarkOriginally posted by Bandit1200 View PostIf I were you I would double check all the hose connections and clips before you start removal of inlet manifold then add Kseal.
It is not possible to reach the water pump bolts without removal of the inlet manifold the removal of which will present more coolant leak problems.
