Gents,
Just thinking in a ‘what if’ kind of way here, but is there a preferred course of action should you ‘be lucky enough’ to catch your temp gauge going East all of a sudden? I’m thinking in terms of once you stop is it best to keep the engine ticking over for a while to keep the water pump & fan working, or just switch straight off? This is all based on the premise that I’m not on a dirty great long beneficial down hill road, or that I have a Kenlowe etc.
