help identifying gearbox

Hi all.

Trying to get my stag ready for its first season, and wanted to check/replace the gearbox oil. My stag has a rover 3.9ltr engine in, and i assume a different gearbox from the original. problem is, i can't identify it. I thought it might be an LT77. It looks like it, it has the equally sized rectangular recesses, and the drain hole is where it should be. Problem is, i can't find the filler hole, and there is no plate where the identification/serial number should be. When i say, no plate, i mean no raised area at all.

It is not a 380, reverse is away from the driver and to the front, but it is 5 speed manual.

Any ideas? Tearing my hair out here.

I was advised to use ATF in my 5 speed manual LT77 box by a well respected Stag specialist.

Thanks Jeff. I just need help confirming that it is indeed an LT77 - and if so, where the wretched filler is!

ATF in any manual box? Cant remember where the filler was.

Yup, Rover specked ATF for the LT77 box.

ukc3771 is the filler plug for LT77 (non L.R.)

Actually, my bad, i think that is the drain plug, wven though its listed as the filler.... Sorry.
I did find this from a tr7 page though:-
The drain hole is on the right side of the LT77 gearbox main case. The filler hole is on the left side of the rear gearbox extension.
The other plug, listed as the drain is ukc26, shown here:-
