Had another look this morning. I now think its not oil thats leaking but water!
As I rev the engine these is a seep into the vee from underneath the carbs. the fluid is thin with no smell hence theassumption its water.
Its alright for you lot swanning off to Broooklands etc. I had to take the rubbish to the tip as we were up too late and the dustmen had already been. trouble was the tip was closed. :X
Not sure who is worse SWMBO for suggesting it or me for trying to do it:shock:Still trips in the Stag from now on should be better
