When I applied for my Heritage Trust certificate late last year, so that I could tax it as historic this year, I did not pay a great deal of attention to the detail, except the build and registration dates. However, the engine number prefix and the body numbers looked wrong to me, so this morning I telephoned the trust. The response that I got was fantastic, the most knowledgeable and helpful chap answered the phone and instantly knew the details of what I was talking about. He explained that the information was retrieved from 40 year old records which were microfiched and sometimes very difficult to read. Just wanted to pass on how impressed with the service I was. A new cert is on its way.
