Does anyone know what type of pins are used on the multi connectors?

Does anyone know what type of pins are used on the multi connectors in the looms?

I searched but all I could find was Drew saying "commonly available"

They look like "Amp" type connectors to me??

OK, I did find that, but is it the AMP type or Riste?? looks like AMP to me..

The original loom multi plugs were (Lucas) Rists, I bought mine from 3 Way Components, seems a good supplier. Get a decent crimp tool and do it properly!

After 45 odd years in electronics I have accumulated quite a few crimp tools, what I don't have is an extractor for that size, I can always get them out but its much nicer with the correct tool..

I have an extractor that works on the pins but not the sockets, anyone found an extractor for those?

I see three way components sell the plugs and pins them on ebay..

The long tube on the green one does work for the pins, I don't have the red one but it just doesn't look big enough, it would need an ID somewhere around 3,9mm to get the sockets.
