A few weeks ago we attended this event which was celebrating 25 years of being run. We always enjoy ourselves and this year was no exception. I believe there were 200 or so Triumphs on the run which every year is brilliantly organised by the Wessex Triumph club, with 50 or so being made up by the Stag. Good weather prevailed throughout with a 40 mile run before the lunch time stop at Cranborne and another 40 mile run after and finishing at the field behind the Compasses Inn at Damerham.
This is our third year since our "Stanley" got back on the road after restoration and he behaved himself so well that my fellow Triumph owners awarded him "Best of Class 2017", with a handsome trophy as the award. I feel very humble to have won as there were so many fantastic looking Stags there, not to mention some wonderful other marques of Triumphs from yesteryear.
Roll on the run for 2018 - Stan and us wouldn't miss it!line o stags.jpgtriumph start.jpglunch stop.jpgthe girls.jpgtrophy.jpg
