Not a bad idea, must confess to forgetting to turn my indicators off now and again when i don't have to turn steering wheel far enough round, not sure on previous reply, christmas spirit:dude:
Please note: anyone who has bought one of these bleepers (eg from my eBay listing), the fitting instructions are in the listing. Simple to fit, but just one important thing: if it doesn't bleep just reverse the connections to the car.
The bleeper only bleeps when connected one way round (bleeper red wire to the live feed from the fuse box). Rather than grovel around looking at wire colours the easiest way is just to fit it, and thenreverse connect the wires if it doesnt work.
i want a buzzer fitted so that if i leave the lights on whn i turn the car off it goes off - most modern cars have somthing like this fitted and i keep finding that i leave the side lights on on the stag as there is no buzzer
You really want it so it goes off when you open the door and have the lights on - or otherwise when you park it with the sidelights on it will be making a right old racket all the time - just stick the + side of the buzzer to the sidelight circuit and the - side to the drivers courtesy switch.... then it only makes a noise when the door is open........which is the only time you really need reminding....

I have been asked by a local member to make him one of these (with the door open function as Russ says). If I do, perhaps I will make a small batch and see what the response is.
One other thing I find annoying is the flickering of the red fuel light even when its half full. That needs a relay with a small delay but I have not found a suitable component yet.

Run a wire from the spare connection on the instrument lights rheostat through the buzzer to connection 87 on the relay. Run another wire from relay connection 86 and splice it into the Purple/Red wire at the driver's side A-post switch. Connections 85 and 30 both go to earth.
Open the driver's door with the lights on and the buzzer sounds.
Dave.
