zf gearbox with weber fitted

finished fitting zf gearbox weber 38 fitted

having trouble with kickdown cable, has anyone got any photos of the linkage they used and any measurements. Cable fitted to gearbox is from landrover

if its slack the gearchange is smooth but either no kickdown or only kicksdown one gear with full throttle not very responsive

cable tight ,harsh gearchange but does kickdown but at high revs

how far should the cable move


any advice will be greatly appreciated

mine is on a Holley but the set up is pull the kick down cable until you can just feel the tension on the cable so the slack is out of it That is the sweet spot for mine hope this helps.

the slack do you mean just before you can feel the tension on the plunger is about to engage
