Does anyone know where I might find a colour wiring diagram for a mark 2 with air con?

I also found that the MK2 wiring diagrams are pretty thin on the ground. I have the Prospero's, though for the Federal A/C, its OK - the wiring is accurate but the colours are not vivid and they don't indicate the main/secondary colours, a listing of colours http://socforum.com/forum/showthread...loom-schematic (post#9 and #32 where I added one or two) is handy. I also found about 10 errors mostly in pin numbers etc, but emailed them and they were receptive, hopefully they use them eventually.

If you (or anybody) go that way I can send you the corrections I found.

Hi Terry and Seaking, thanks for the help. I'll check with Prospero to see if they've improved the colouring situation on their diagrams.

I found that, looking at non A/C wiring diagrams, it turns out some 40 years ago the then new 8 track player was installed with switch wiring to the coil ballast wire by the steering column (pink and white) instead of the stereo wire by centre consoles (also the same pink and white colour!). I've changed it around but still enjoying the wonderful sound of interference in the audio system.

Next wiring task once I've got the diagram will be adding a separate switch to the two A/C rad cooling fans for those hot summer days ahead...

        Thanks again,,
        Tariq

I'm guessing that there are 2 versions out there, a 73 version (I have) that only has Mk1 info and is widely available on the web and a 77 version that I'm guessing has Mk2 info. can anybody confirm that?

As far a prosperos goes its fine, and a nice big diagram that is easy to follow and is laminated for those oily fingers. its just that it's a bit difficult actually identifying the colours so the list I linked to makes that easy.

            here's a nice colour diagram of a non A/C Mk2

They are good but the one I need, LHD UK A/C LD20001 onwards, isn't the clearest copy. I also like the coloured ones... almost foolproof.

Yes, I have a '77 one which includes Mk2 models.

Thanks for the link, that's the one I've been using so far but eventually will need the A/C wiring. I dropped Prospero a message to check some info on their chart that I'll need.
