    Front suspension

Can anyone tell me if the 4 lugs on the bottom of the struts point in or out when reffiting.

    Hi Bill does this help?

After spending yesterday calling Haynes manuals this is from the suspension section and I'm pretty certain it will be the drivers side.

    Hope you sort it

Thanks Dave, it looks like it could be as you say, if they gave more of a side view it would give better idea of the angle.

        Hi Bill

The strut will only go on one way otherwise the rake and trial would be all wrong, when you look head on (side view) you will see that the mating faces are upright and the strut is welded at an angle leaning in towards the turret (inner Wheel arche).

        As per the Haynes drawing.

Hiya, the lugs on the strut are on the inside, i.e. closer to the centre of the car, cheers, Martin. PS the Haynes drawing shows the passenger side (nearside)
