Hi all, has anybody got a picture of the original jack? The one I have I dont think is correct. The patent no. on the jack I have is 903079. How safe are they to use? Are they available? Cheers Mark

Don't forget the advantages of an electric scissor jack.
Normally lower than a hydraulic bottle jack and about the same height as a low height trolley jack, you can slide it underneath the front crossmember or under the trailing arms or subframe members at the back. Comes complete with a remote control so after placing you can stand away from the car out of the traffic flow and dangers and lift the car whilst keeping an eye open for oncoming vehicles.
Got mine for £46 from e bay complete in plastic carrying case, 2 ton capacity so I use it as an easy transferable jack between the cars and the caravan which drops lower than a snakes belly if it gets a puncture.
